Class level: Intermediate/Advanced
Megan teaches a fluidly-staccato-swinging-floorwork-handstand-post-modern-pelvis-rolling-eyes-widening-absurdist-release technique class. Thirty minutes of dynamic floor noodling, some chewy across-the-floor inversion practice, and longer phrasework is to be expected. Incorporating elements of classic modern dance technique (Limon, Horton, a dash of Cunningham, and perhaps even a sprinkle of some ballet) with improvisation, yoga, and release, Megan is interested in movement that is both raw and specific, with an emphasis on pathways of motion.
