Health & Safety

This information will be updated as new information becomes available.

Policies as of March 1, 2023

For 90 years, ADF has served as a home for modern dance. Your safety, and that of our artists, crew, and staff, continues to be a top priority at all of the locations we present performances. Please check back on this page for the latest information.

ADF’s masking policy will be guided by the community risk category as determined by Duke University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Masks are not required indoors or at events at this time. Individuals who feel more comfortable continuing to mask should do so and all members of the community should respect the rights of those who wish to remain masked. We recommend that anyone experiencing cold-like respiratory symptoms not attend events; exchanges can be arranged by emailing tickets@duke.edu in advance. ADF will adhere to all Duke University, local, and state regulations and are subject to change on short notice.
