Alexandra Burchette is a multi-passionate artist based in Durham, NC. She began her pre-professional training at the North Carolina Governor’s School and NC State University’s Dance Program. She has been greatly influenced by the teachings of Andrea Woods Valdés, Paul Matteson, and Tracey Durbin, to name a few. Alexandra joined Durham-based dance company KT Collective in 2020 and was most recently cast in Monica Bill Barnes and Company’s The Running Show. Alexandra is the artistic director of the Panoramic Dance Project at North Carolina State University where she premiered a new work, Presences, in 2023. Discovering physicality through modern dance and somatics, Alexandra now practices performance, rehearsal direction, choreography, and arts administration in this great Dance-Life.
