This class integrates mindful practices in technique guided by principles that foster efficiency, safety and body-awareness. Class exercises are rooted in biomechanical knowledge as a means to facilitate motor skill development, muscle memory and artistic choice-making. Dancers of all levels of experience are welcome to experience a holistic practice in an encouraging environment where we will explore ways to cross-reference the benefits of anatomical and kinesiology-based knowledge with musicality and unique expression through classical ballet movement.
