Killian Manning

Killian Manning has been dancing, teaching dance, and making dances for over 30 years. She began her career in Boston, studying with Mark Morris and Lucinda Childs, teaching at Radcliffe and the Boston Conservatory, and founding her company, No Forwarding Address. She relocated to North Carolina via the American Dance Festival and taught at UNC-Chapel Hill. She has created over 25 dance-theater, site-specific, and video works and has been a guest artist at the Carolina Friends School, Durham Academy, and the Ackland Art Museum. She is currently on the faculty of The Ballet School of Chapel Hill. She is Artist-in-Residence for the Data Science Academy at NC State University, working on an intertextual video project designed to illustrate the multitudes of ways in which “data science is for everyone.”
