Dj Micky Slicks, born in Saigon, Vietnam, is now a resident of Raleigh, NC. As a member of the well-known breaking crew, Raleigh Rockers, he has collaborated with festivals and events such as Sparkcon, African American Culture Festival, Hopscotch 2014 with Big Daddy Kane, Shamrock Breakdance Battle, and Mass Appeal. His deep love and appreciation for turntablism, hip-hop, funk, and global music sparked by over 10 years of breaking has led to his career as a Dj.
